Dispatcher Training: Notes, Reports and Testifying

This Massachusetts E911-grant approved training program prepares emergency dispatchers and call takers to document, report, and communicate with clarity, accuracy, professionalism, and care. Designed for grant reimbursement, the course uses embedded PowerPoint-based instruction and Knowledge Checks to examine the legal realities of public-safety communications, core principles of reporting, and a cognitive approach to call taking. Learners build practical awareness of objective documentation, defensible decision-making, accurate records, and the human factors that affect performance during high-stress calls.
